Funnily, it was the Dutch practitioner Johann Georg Mezger, in the 19th century, who developed the technique and applied the french names to the basic strokes,

To elevate the recovery or relief, we incorporate techniques such as gliding cup therapy and gua sha to stimulate circulation, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing.
