TheDecompressor
Cupping and Gua Sha for chronic neck, jaw, and shoulder tension. Gliding and stationary cups release myofascial restriction while Gua Sha breaks up stagnation and restores blood flow, all with acutonics and aromatherapy throughout. Standalone, or add to any massage or Restore treatment.
After your session
Immediate release of upper-body tension, neck, jaw, and shoulder restriction visibly softened. Improved range of motion in the cervical spine and reduction in stress-related upper-body holding patterns.

Hydrate well. Mention any neck or shoulder injuries, recent procedures, or chronic conditions at intake.
Cupping leaves circular marks for three to ten days, across the upper back where they're often visible in V-neck or strapless clothing.
Mention it. Stationary cupping is a distinctive sensation, and your therapist will check in throughout.
Afteryour treatment.
Drink water generously. The release of upper-body tension can produce a tired or floaty feeling for a few hours, give yourself the slow tempo.
Avoid intense heat (saunas, hot tubs) directly after, circulation is heightened. Light movement and gentle stretching support the result.
The Decompressor is well-suited to weekly during an acute flare-up of upper-body tension, tapering to fortnightly or monthly for maintenance.
What clients say
The Decompressor, as experienced.
I added The Decompressor to my monthly massage and the change was immediate. The neck and jaw work is what I needed, desk life and a clenched jaw at night. The cupping marks are visible for a week but the release lasts the whole month.

It's not a massage, it's a focused 30-minute cupping and Gua Sha protocol specifically for upper-body tension. Where a massage uses pressure and stroke, The Decompressor uses cup suction to release fascial layers and Gua Sha to mobilise circulation. Different mechanism, different result.
Yes, circular marks across the upper back, shoulders, or neck where cups were placed. Marks typically fade in three to ten days. Darker marks indicate areas of greater stagnation. They are not bruises and are not painful.

The Decompressor specifically targets the upper-body cluster (neck, jaw, upper back, shoulders) and includes Gua Sha. If your tension is upper-body, choose The Decompressor.
