48 hours before

Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, and any treatments that may sensitise the skin.

24 hours before

Avoid alcohol if possible. Circulation is heightened after acupuncture, and alcohol can amplify any minor bruising.

Day of

Eat lightly before your session. Avoid caffeine within an hour. Note any blood thinners, including supplements, at intake.

Afteryour treatment.

Same day

Some clients notice faint redness around the needling sites for up to 120 minutes. This fades quickly. Drink water generously.

First 24 hours

Avoid intense exercise, alcohol, and heavy heat exposure such as saunas and hot baths. Use only gentle skincare.

Series cadence

Most clients book every three to four weeks across a series of 4 to 6 sessions. Maintenance every six to eight weeks after the initial series.

Is cosmetic acupuncture painful?

Most clients describe a faint, brief sensation, not pain. The needles are hair-fine. Most people fall asleep during the session. You may notice minor redness around the needling sites for up to 120 minutes afterward.

What is the difference between NO-TOX and Botox?

Botox temporarily paralyses the target muscle. The NO-TOX Facial does the opposite. It stimulates the muscle and surrounding tissue to restore tone from within. Natural movement, not frozen expression. Results build cumulatively across a series of 4 to 6 sessions and continue with maintenance.

How many sessions do I need to see results?

A single session delivers visible lift and luminosity that lasts roughly two weeks. For long-term collagen response and lasting structural improvement, the protocol is 4 to 6 sessions spaced one month apart, then maintenance every six to eight weeks.

Can I have a NO-TOX Facial if I have recently had Botox or filler?

Yes, but wait at least two weeks after Botox or filler injections so the area is fully settled. The needles are placed at acupoints, not into injection sites, but giving the skin time to recover fully ensures the most accurate response.

Who should not have cosmetic acupuncture?

We do not perform NO-TOX during pregnancy, on clients with bleeding disorders, on active facial infections, or on clients taking blood thinners without medical clearance. If you are unsure, please call before booking.
